From Prompts to Process: Building Repeatable Copilot Workflows Across Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365 Copilot is no longer a novelty feature—it is an operating model shift. The organizations getting real value are not “prompting better”; they are designing repeatable, governed workflows that turn Copilot into a reliable teammate across meetings, documents, files, and knowledge.
In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to move from isolated Copilot wins to standardized, scalable Copilot-powered processes across Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, SharePoint, Loop, and more. You will practice end-to-end scenarios that mirror real work: preparing for meetings, capturing decisions, drafting deliverables, transforming content into multiple formats, and creating a lightweight system for finding and reusing knowledge. You will also leave with a practical adoption blueprint you can take back to your organization—focused on measurable outcomes, role-based enablement, and the governance guardrails needed for confident scale.
What you’ll do in the workshop
Map “time thieves” to Copilot opportunities Identify the repeatable tasks that consume time across roles (status updates, meeting follow-ups, document drafting, version churn, searching for answers) and convert them into Copilot workflow candidates.
Build end-to-end Copilot workflows in the apps people actually use You will practice scenario-based exercises that connect multiple apps together, such as: • Meeting to deliverable: agenda → live notes → decisions → follow-ups → summary for stakeholders • Document acceleration: draft → refine tone/structure → extract action items → create an executive summary • Knowledge to communication: source content → grounded recap → FAQ → publish-ready updates • Content repurposing: Word/Loop notes → PowerPoint narrative → email/Teams post variants
Make Copilot output more trustworthy and reusable Learn practical techniques for grounding, citation-friendly drafting, and creating “inputs that produce consistent outputs” (templates, reference documents, and structured prompts your team can reuse).
Establish adoption mechanics that hold up after the workshop You will leave with a blueprint that includes: • A role-based enablement plan (executives, managers, contributors, site owners) • A simple measurement model (time saved, cycle time reduction, quality signals) using Copilot reporting and feedback loops • A governance checklist for safe scale (sharing behaviors, content lifecycle, and knowledge hygiene)

Messaging That Moves: Designing Communication Plans for AI-Powered Change
As organizations race to adopt AI, one truth remains constant: technology doesn’t drive transformation—people do. Messaging That Moves is an energetic, hands‑on session that equips leaders, change practitioners, and comms professionals with the skills to design human-centered communication plans for AI-powered change.
This workshop blends design thinking, behavioral insights, and real-world lessons from Microsoft 365 + Copilot rollouts to demonstrate how messaging can accelerate (or derail) adoption. We will kick off with an “AI Word Association” icebreaker that reveals the hopes, fears, and assumptions people bring to AI initiatives—setting the foundation for empathetic, resonant communication.
Then we will explore the anatomy of high-impact messaging through examples of both successful and unsuccessful internal comms from AI implementations. From there, we will move into collaborative empathy mapping, working with real user personas to uncover what employees think, feel, do, and need during moments of technological change.
The session culminates in a fast-paced message‑crafting lab where teams design a mini‑campaign—email, Teams post, video script, or micro‑announcement—tailored to their persona. Using “Message Impact Meter” feedback cards, groups rapidly evaluate clarity, emotional relevance, and actionability.
Attendees leave with a Communication Strategy Toolkit packed with templates, tone guides, and sample comms they can apply immediately. The final reflection invites each participant to identify one message they’ll take back to their organization tomorrow—ensuring change doesn’t just inform, but truly move people.
This session is ideal for anyone tasked with shepherding their organization through AI adoption and eager to elevate communication from informational to transformational.

Designing for Intelligence: How IA and Usability Shape Copilot Success in Microsoft 365
We’ve all heard the worse-case scenario of Copilot finding the CEOs bonus structure but not every scenario is as clear cut as this. Maybe it’s a version for a new policy placed in the wrong library with shared permissions or an employee discipline report in the wrong folder with open sharing. In this session we’ll run through 3 scenarios where permissions could lead to Copilot viewing and synthetizing information to the wrong user.
• What happens when a private team site is accidently created as public? • A site is set to open sharing leading to a policy in review being presented to a user before it is ready • How one document library with many folders with individual permissions can lead to sharing and misplacing documents
We’ll end reviewing some better practices around data governance and how best to protect your documents to ensure Copilot only picks up what you want it to and who it should be seen by.
