Agents are the new apps for an AI-powered world where personal agents, business-process agents, and cross-organizational agents work together to enhance productivity and collaboration. With their evolution, real innovation and results are coming to fruition, and businesses are seeing real benefits.

Microsoft Copilot Studio is a graphical, low-code tool for building agents and agent flows. One of the standout features is its ability to connect to other data sources using either prebuilt or custom plugins. This flexibility enables users to create and orchestrate sophisticated logic, ensuring that their agent experiences are both powerful and intuitive.

Microsoft Fabric is an analytics platform that supports end‑to‑end data workflows, including data ingestion, transformation, real‑time stream processing, analytics, and reporting. It provides integrated experiences such as Data Engineering, Data Factory, Data Science, Real‑Time Intelligence, Data Warehouse, and Databases, which operate over a shared compute and storage model.

Microsoft Foundry provides a unified Azure-based platform-as-a-service (PaaS) for enterprise AI operations, model deployment, and application development—combining infrastructure, governance, monitoring, and model management under a single, enterprise-ready framework.

In this hands on workshop, Microsoft AI and Business Applications MVP and Microsoft Certified Trainer Prashant G Bhoyar will cover the following topics in detail:

*Fundamentals of multimodal GenAI applications and AI agents *Building and orchestrating autonomous and multi agent AI systems *Developing agents in Copilot Studio to handle complex, multi step conversations across Teams, web, and other channels *Developing agents in Microsoft Fabric to work with structured and streaming data using Fabric IQ, leveraging OneLake, real time analytics, and integrated data services to enable intelligent, data driven agent experiences *Using Microsoft Foundry and integrating models from DeepSeek, Llama, Hugging Face, and other open source providers via Foundry *Deep dive into Microsoft Foundry and its enterprise grade capabilities *Building and testing real world multi agent use cases and architectures *Leveraging Foundry IQ and Azure AI Search for intelligent, context aware retrieval *Utilizing Foundry Agent Service for automated, scalable business processes *Implementing evaluation, tracing, and testing frameworks for AI agents *Applying Responsible AI principles and evaluating ROI for AI driven solutions *Building robust, scalable multimodal applications and AI agents focused on real industry requirements and best practices

Access to Azure, Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, and Copilot Studio services worth USD 500 will be provided to follow the labs and create enterprise grade multimodal applications and agents.

Technical Evangelist at Syskit | Microsoft MVP | Microsoft 365 Copilot & AI Agents Expert | 100+ Pluralsight Courses | International Speaker

Agents are the next step in the AI evolution for Microsoft 365. Unlike traditional chatbots, agents don’t just answer questions; they take action, follow instructions, and work alongside your users to get real tasks done.

In this demo-heavy workshop, you’ll learn how to become an agent builder without writing a single line of code. We’ll break down what makes agents different, explore their architecture, and walk through the tools available in Microsoft 365 to bring them to life. Together, we’ll build agents in SharePoint, experiment with the new Copilot Studio Light (formerly the Microsoft 365 Copilot Agent Builder), and unlock the full capabilities of Copilot Studio.

You’ll see how to design agents that not only retrieve information but also trigger workflows, call external systems, and even act autonomously. By the end, you’ll have the skills and confidence to start creating your own agents that deliver real business value; without ever touching code.

Two Ways to Automate: Agent Flows and Computer Use in Copilot Studio

Samir Makwana

Samir Makwana

MVP (Copilot Studio)| Founder of Cloudtrify | Cloud Solution Architect | Angel Investor

Overview This session covers two automation capabilities in Microsoft Copilot Studio: agent flows and computer use. Attendees will see how agent flows automate workflows and how computer use enables agents to interact with websites and desktop applications. What You Will See Agent Flows (Generally Available)

Agent flows are automated sequences of actions triggered by specific events or conditions Agent flows can be triggered manually, by other automated events or agents, or based on a schedule Two creation methods: natural language description or visual designer with drag-and-drop components Agent flows follow a deterministic path, ensuring that input produces the same output To add an agent flow to an agent as a tool, it must have the "When an agent calls the flow" trigger and a "Respond to the agent" action Action types include AI capabilities (generate text, run a prompt, process documents) and human-in-the-loop actions (approval requests) Agent flows are billed through Copilot Studio based on consumption without requiring a separate Power Automate license Existing Power Automate cloud flows can be converted to agent flows

Computer Use (Public Preview)

Computer use is a tool in Copilot Studio that lets agents interact with and automate tasks on a Windows computer Computer use works with websites and desktop apps by selecting buttons, choosing menus, and entering text into fields on the screen Powered by Computer-Using Agents (CUA), an AI model that combines vision capabilities with advanced reasoning to interact with graphical user interfaces Because it is AI-powered, it adapts to interface changes; when buttons or screens change, the tool continues working without breaking the flow Describe tasks in natural language; no coding required Works with browsers including Edge, Chrome, and Firefox, and desktop applications Hosted browser option powered by Windows 365 requires no machine setup Existing machines used to run desktop flows can also be used for computer use Use cases include automated data entry, invoice processing, and data extraction Available for environments where the region is set to United States Each computer use action costs five Copilot Credits

Who Should Attend Developers, Power Platform implementers, and solution architects working with Copilot Studio automation capabilities.
